If anything Lady GaGa is actually doing a good job by putting this issue in the spotlight (as if it weren't already though). Things like the Superbowl or gossip about celebrities lives are distractions from what's important, not celebrities actually trying to bring major issues into the public's attention (this being an example of celebrities actually using their popularity for something good and usefull).
