Course I have to, otherwise you're just making assumptions.

I think there is a 30% chance it'll happen, a 60% chance wii will wn, and a 10% chance they'll draw.

Other than me saying X360 will beat Wii in UK this year (which it will), I havn't said anything else, and have maintained that Wii will win the holiday season, albeit not by domination.

I expect 360 sales around 49 mill by end of year, that's only 1 mill up on last year in same time frame.

So no, not "extremely overconfident"

That's fair.  I expect it to be close, but I think the Wii will pull it out in the end.  ;)

There is this place called hell and the X360 doesn't have a chance in it.

 

Reach speaks mostly to current X360 owners.
Kinect won't grab the casual's as fast as MS thinks it will (price and Wii ubiquity).

Donkey Kong and Goldeneye appeal to older gamers who aren't likely to already own a Wii.
Consumer market trends heavily favors Wii during any gift giving season.

RECENT being the key word, like the 2 that have just gone by, more of an indication of sales now than evidence from last year.

Wii did so well in those xmas holidays because like I've said before, in 07/08 it was the IT thing to have, all year round, in 09 it got it's price cut, fact it didn't take a proper hold until December means nothing, if it didn't have any price cut last year it's Dec sales would have been MUCH lower.

Actually i agree with most of what seece is saying. 360 will dominate in UK, as it is the console of choice there! thats why EU will be Wii's weakest market. NA will be close unless Wii drops a pricedrop
