If I'm reading this right... then Dream World is going to change everything in the MetaGame. Awesome.

I'm back. Serebii.net started, two days ago, playing Black/White and are posting what they find in this thread.

- Tabunne appears in every route, however, it is extremely rare. While walking, sometimes one patch of grass will be shaking (like the Pokeradar back in DPPt), you have higher chances of running in Tabunne in that patch when it appears.
- VS. Recorder makes a return
- you are challenged a lot by Team Plasma, and your rivals, more times than in previous games
- Professor Araragi will give you the Lucky Egg at a point in the game
- the city that varies between version is Souryuu City, the final gym is located there
- quote "The rooms for the Elite Four are phenomenal" by Serebii
- page with details on Elite Four members, the order in which you fight them is up to you
- I want post details regarding the story, but from what I read there is more of it than in past games
- in each town there are people holding instruments, talk to them and their instrument will be added to the town theme music

- after the "main story" ends you have to help Looker find the Sages
- Torunerosu is a roaming Pokémon, unlike past roamers however, you know where he is in due to the weather

So with his new Dream World ability and a Choice Scarf, Ditto is the undisputed best revenge killer in the game. It might actually be to a Ditto user's ability to let the enemy's sweeper set up just so Ditto can come in, one-shot them, and then go berserk.

Actually, Cloyster with Water Goggles and Breloom are scary as Hell now, too!

Breloom has always hit hard, but with Technician and Bullet Seed being given a bosot to 25 base power.... well, you can do the math. Bare minimum it hits as hard as Scizor's Bullet Punch. If it tops out, it hits like a Self-Destruct. And it can use it every freaking turn. This thing will be Hell on wheels in Trick Room teams.

Cloyster's no slouch either, in spite of its lower attack. With Skill Link, Icicle Spear (which was also boosted) will always hit 5 times - which means 125 base power before STAB.

If Water Goggles adds only 10% to damage and accuracy for water-type moves... Clamp sits at 38.5 base power and 80 accuracy. With Skill Link, that's.... Christ alive! 192.5 base power before STAB! Every freaking turn!

As posted yesterday:

We just received a letter from a Nintendo lawyer (edited to remove personal info obviously) asking to take down all of our Black and White images or bad stuff will happen. I called the lawyer through his law firm and he said he’ll be making the rounds on other Pokemon sites as well. I was the first website on their list. I’m about to go out while Bangiras plays the game due to a small family emergency but I have 24 hours to remove the images, which means they’ll be gone by tomorrow afternoon (Sunday). Joy! Anyways, we’ll continue to play the game and report what we find like we’ve been doing.

Since us posting images of Black and White “has the potential to cause substantial damage to Nintendo,” we have obviously complied with their wishes. All recent images of the games have been replaced by Ditto, a Pokemon from 1996 who we feel will best represent Pokemon’s current image. We’ve also taken the liberty to change the name of this site to “PokerBeach” since we figured using “Poké” also has the chance of causing substantial damage to Nintendo’s property. We hope that all English-speakers will remove images of Black and White from their websites, blogs, YouTubes, Facebooks, instant messages, e-mails, homes, and minds since under law Nintendo has the right to declare any media they want, on any website they want, illegal and out of the domain of fair use. We hope everyone will comply with their wishes or Pokemon may end up in the gutter. Since covering and advertising new games for free is obviously counter-productive to Nintendo’s sales… I mean, images of the games will obviously cost more damage than issues like this. Why go after the big guys when you can waste your lawyers’ time on small fan sites that only help your franchise?

Though Naz brings up a good point when I was speaking with him on IM. These games are released in Japan, so they are now public domain. Nintendo of America does not have any control over this. So is someone REALLY pranking these community websites or is it really Nintendo's doing?

I don't think you guys are nearly excited enough about Cloyster.

I have to say, this is kinda whack if Nintendo themselves are behind this...

My friend found a typo in that document that's provided on PokeBeach. That law firm / document may not be legit at all. I think someone is behind this, and it's not Nintendo's doing...

Yep, new abilities mean a lot more Pokemon can get the spotlight.

I'm rather excited for Politoed and Ninetails myself. Those two never got the love they deserved, and now that they're the only non-Ubers to have rain/sun abilities. The metagame is going to get a major weather boost this gen methinks. Chlorophyll and Swift Swim users are going to be more important than ever.
