I just got chills over my entire body, if you showed me that trailer without me knowing what it was i would have never guessed that it was DMC. Dante got indeed raped, he looks so awfull.

I wonder if its the same Dante we know, but raped. Or that its a new universe, but his name is still Dante.

I thought it looked cool. The franchise needed a reboot and I'm glad they've shown something different. It's not like the characters or story in DMC was ever that great to begin with...

On another note, I'm ridiculously happy with the resurgence the Hack 'n' Slash genre has gotten in the last year. Bayonetta, GOW 3, Asura's Wrath, New Ninja Gaiden, New DMC, Castlevania: Lords of Shadows and the inevitable Bayonetta 2 down the line.

These guys made Heavenly Sword, right? Then I still have hope, but it does look....odd.  DMC3 was awesome if brutal, but I'll keep watching this though....

There is so many things wrong in that trailer. Really, WTF was with that extendable whip weapon?! I hope it's just one of Dantes sub-weapons, because his main weapon has always been Rebellion which he got from his father.

It's called a reboot for a reason, it's about bringing lots of new ideas to the franchise. If you don't like it, fine, but lets see the game first, shall we?
