NEW Devil May Cry ANNOUNCED at TGS!! (young looking Dante)

New Devil May Cry Announced At TGS

 

Capcom's Tokyo Games Show press event just took place in Japan - the publisher has finally confirmed rumoursof Devil May Cry 5, and British developer Ninja Theory is working on the game.

The new game will be called DMC - as per Capcom's recent trademark - and will follow a young-looking Dante. Capcom also showed a trailer during it's press event - look out for that soon.

ITS A REBOOT GUYS

Capcom has announced Ninja Theory is working on a reboot of Devil May Cry, confirming previous rumours.

 

The title seems to include a younger Dante and is in San Francisco, with producer Alex Jones leading the team.

I'm very skeptical right now.

A) I don't know if Ninja Theory can really recreate a Devil May Cry Game.

B) Young Dante from what I've seen from Joystiq's Live Blog looks nothing like previous Dante and way different hairstyle aka don't like the new Dante.

C) Best of the West and East... WTF is that supposed to mean?

 

But I'm at least relieved that Nero is not in the game.

I just hope that Ninja Theory proves to me that they can really make this a really solid Devil May Cry Game like DMC 3 through gameplay. If they keep Dante's gameplay like DMC 3, then I'll be very pleased.

Was there really any need for a franchise thats less than 10 years old to be rebooted? {ditto for the silly spider-man movie reboot}

BUT it looks decent so far......dunno what to think I'm not really into DMC or hack n slash anyway
