With the Tokyo Game Show just around the corner information about the latest games are bound to leak out, as more and more people are brought in to help set up publisher’s conferences and show presence. Now, a source has contacted PlayStation LifeStyle with what they claim to be the entire initial roster for Marvel vs Capcom 3.

I hope it's true because of PSYLOCKE (HELLYEAH!!!), She Hulk, Spiderman and Magneto from Marvel and Akuma from Capcom.

And there are some Marvel and mostly Capcom characters that I've never heard of.

Wolverine isn't an X-man anymore he's just a cash cow. Magneto is still Magneto. Then Psylocke...for the Japanese market? Good she's in one of my favourite characters (when written well unlike recent comics).

Where's Rogue, Gambit and most importantly Cyclops? Cyclops is the X-men.

Screw Rogue, Gambit and most importantly Cyclops (srsly, fuck Cyclops)... I wanted Nightcrawler. It'd be soooo perfect. ;_;

I like Psylocke, but man, yeah, where are the other X-Men?  I'm kinda shocked we even got her over Storm, Emma or even Kitty.

In other MVC3 news, Capcom confirmed the game was being co-developed by an external studio, and would be the first MT Framework title to be so.  They wouldn't name the dev, but it's obviously 8ing (who also did TVC).

They may not have many X-Men BUT THEY HAVE SQUIRREL GIRL!

Ooh, Nightcrawler. An excellent point. Yeah I'd prefer him over Stabberine anyday.

If they are going to release next characters as downloadable later I'd like to know.
