God I love seal meat.
" don't understand why amazon is getting used so much these days"
Pretty simple. Not Gamestop, Prime Shipping/Release Day Delivery, coupon deals. In that order.

Exactly.
Besides, Disney prefers to club pengiuns.
Edit: Oh, and how funny is it that right now the Move passed Kinect on Amazon US?

You're awesome.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

It is one of the greatest delicacies in this world. If it weren't for threads like these, how would we ever partake in the loveliness of baby seal meat they provide?
Bon appetit my friends!

OT: I do agree with you. Kinect has stayed in the Top 75 on the Amazon best seller list since E3. It does show that there has been a sustained interest in Kinect for several months. What we don't know is how many units Amazon moves on each game and/or piece of hardware to gauge how well it truly is being received. But for a $150 peripheral it seems to being fairing quite well when you consider all the software coming out in the next couple of months. |
I was going to post basically the same thing you did. But you beat me too it! It's certainly a shame anything "Pro Kinect" gets bashed within 5 posts every time.

I guess the main reason is that whenever you see a thread by PizzaFaceGamer (or a dozen of well-known other users), without even reading the topic you instantly know it's either Pro-Microsoft or Anti-Sony blabla.
What's so ridiculous is that even the slightest information is worth a whole thread - like in this example, where Kinect finally managed to reach place 10 of the the hourly updated Amazon game bestseller charts for like an hour. Now it's six hours later and Kinect has already dropped to place 15 again. And just a couple of days ago when I checked, it was somewhere at place 80 or so.
Not sure which is worse: for a dyed in the wool gamer to be trying to drum up enthusiasm and hype for a peripheral that literally has nothing compelling for them on release for the sake of pumping a gaming platform, or those who nit-pick over something they have virtually no interest in buying whatsoever, either now or in the future, yet feel compelled to share their opinion anytime someone makes another attempt at end user marketing/PR.
While I'm sure there will be games in the future that justify the $150 add on, I just can't say that this applies as of launch.
And Kinect has been all over the bestsellers list at Amazon since it was announced. Currently it's 15; below the Move controller and Move starter bundle.
Neither of the Kinect bundles are currently within the top 100.
