Ok so i've been thinking for a while and i want another console theres just too much im missing.

as a preface i Own a PS3 and a Good gaming computer so PC/360 games need not apply for swaying choices

Wii

So theres a bunch of good games for wii that i want

Mario galaxy 1/2, NSMBW, paper mario, metroid prime trilogy and other M, Muramasa, Kirby epic yarn (and let me say i FUCKING LOVE kirby) , no more heroes 1/2 and some rail shooters maybe plus a few more but those are the main ones

and I never had a gamecube so there are a few games on there that i want so theres that

also of note is i like wii's aproach to motion controles more or less from what i've experienced particularly with shooters but as i said i DO have a ps3 and im considering strongly getting Move as its like a wii's controles and it will work with games i'd play anyway on my ps3

another thing is i hear the wii 2 is comming early january so if thats backwards compatible i might wanna wait for THAT so thats something to concider i guess

XBOX 360

Gears of war i like a lot and i enjoy halo games so i'd probly be picking up gears 3 and halo reach but mostly for the multi, other games i want would be fable and crackdown, i'd probly pick up alan wake too 

now xbox has a lot of good arcade games like Monday night combat looks great and Virtual on which i've been jealous of for ages they also got limbo and few others

there are a few xbox 1 games i'd play but not many

some other things of note are i do have a few friends with 360s , im VERY turned off by paying for live i had a 360 before and i didnt like it then its not TOO big a deal but its 30-40 bucks i could spend other places (buy cards online for cheeper)

i have no interest in kinect as of now as theres nothing i've seen that impreses me so thats not a factor

the other thing is i HAVE an xbox 360 thats modded that i got from a friend in an arangement. im not above pirating games for it either as i've done so however its a banned model so the only reason i'd really get it is to play the xbla games and the multi and i DO have an interest in multi so really im after the multiplayer games like Halo, gears, monday night combat, and virtual on. but i'm pretty against paying for live

You should go for another HD console (360) as you may not adapt with the graphics of Wii (unless you played it before and have no problem with graphics). 

The problem I found with wii is the graphics. Games are superb though. So, you may find it hard to get used to crappy graphics of Wii after playing a games on PS3.

nah the graphics are no problem i play ps2 games on my ps3 and i've played wii and the graphics arent THAT bad its not really the issue here so much

You just said you already have a 360 seems the choice is obvious.

Wii. I think you'll enjoy a different taste of games like  the Nintendo franchise like SMG, kirby,donkey kong, zelda, metroid, NSMB, SSBB, MK, Wii series(yes they're fun!) etc ... along with games like monster hunter, epic mickey, no more heroes, pro evolution, tatsunoko, and some party games when you're drunk :P. Go for the Wii, i like the balance of 1 HD console, and the Wii. Gives me all i want. And no there isn't a Wii 2 in January definitely

As an owner of both I would suggest a Wii simply because the PS3 and 360 library are very similar compared to the Wii vs HD twins.

I don't even like the Wii and I'm recommending it. It's got an interesting and diverse library with a few gems that can't be found on the HD consoles. Plus you've already got a 360, PS3 and gaming PC, so besides Live, I don't see the point in buying another 360.

I'd have to say Wii because 90-95% of 360 games can be played on your PS3/PC already, whereas there's a ton of great Wii games exclusive to Wii.

And whereas it's may be hard to get used to Wii's poorer graphics, it'll even be harder to get used to paying for online. XD

Easily the Wii, if you do go down that route feel free to look at my collection, I would whole-heartedly recommend every single Wii game I own, with the exception of Wii Play (which I bought for the extra remote)
