This ignores the possibility of a Mafia Busdriver (unlikely) or a Mafia Roleblocker (slightly more likely).  Either one blows up this plan, and if GoW_3ever dies after getting blocked, he won't be able to tell us.  A Mafia Busdriver could screw this up without us knowing even if GoW_3ever is still alive Tomorrow.

I didn't see it from that angle... it's true that if the order of things would have been reversed (i.e.: GoW declares Heph has a killing role first then Heph claiming to have reflected all actions on him to someone else) then he would probably have been lynched by now.

So let's say for argument's sake that Heph is scum. For him to roleclaim like that it would mean that he knew that someone targetted him at night. For that to be possible he'd have to be a Mafia Watcher and watched himself.

Hephaestos coming out at the beginning of the day like that is certainly worth some points in his favor.  It is not unheard of for scum to claim early in the game, Dsister in the Zombie game comes to mind, but he was under much more pressure.  Hephaestos wasn't really under pressure, and it does seem a bit unlikely he would have done that preemptively  as scum.  Your role idea for that to happen does seem far-fetched.

yeah, the two aren't even very comparable. In the zombie game iirc it was roleclaim or you will be lynched(or it was getting to it) Of course I was sorta kinda roleclaiming on day 1.

You are both online right now.  What do you guys think about Vetteman and Nen-suer?

To be honest I haven't been able to give it a serious read through yet. The two people that I find suspicious now are Heph and Metal gear, but just for reasons already listed.

I don't think it means much.  I mean he changes his avatar to look like Sephiroth and then tells someone "hi Aerith".  That's just ... for one thing you're suggesting that he was told who Aerith was.  I don't know why dtewi would have done that; I mean, it would let him avoid killing you before your time, but it seems like a strange thing to me.  Although the more I think of it the more it makes at least a LITTLE bit of sense...

I just don't think he's Sephiroth.  But IMO he could be an antagonist in general.  The way he gave himself multiple "FF bad guy" avatars could be a result of him being personally amused that he was a bad guy.  It seems pretty dumb whether he was good or bad but it might be more likely that being bad would cause him to do it.  But I don't know if I'm willing to vote him based on that.

Yeah I guess that's true.  I didn't consider that when maybe I should have.  In my defense the powers revealed so far are pretty weird and not from earlier games so it's entirely possible the mafia have neither of those roles.  But the risk is something to consider. 

However, as for GoW "double checking" the power that was claimed to have been reflected ... it's a good idea, but are we sure he'll live long enough to tell us the result? 

I guesss he could just be a vigilante tonight on whoever he suspects...

To the people asking me to steal hephaestos' power on night 3 -

As theRepublic has also pointed out, a mafia roleblocker or busdriver will rape me.

Even if I get through those , Heph's possible kill ability could mean a couple of things -

1. Vigilante

2. SK

3. Mafia

A) Fixed mafia assassin - If this is the case, I will get the kill ability again.

B) Designated mafia assassin for the night - In this case, the mafia will obviously use someone else as the killer. And I won't get the kill ability.

I think my one last shot at this power (if I don't die tonight) would be much more useful at possibly putting a townie in the clear or catching a scum bag.

About Metal_Gear, he is still a noob at this...so I'm willing to give him a chance. I'd appreciate it if he posts more than "PLEASE DON"T LYNCH MEEEEEEEZ !". 

Interestingly, we now HAVE to find sephiroth tomorrow, on Day 4 or j0 dies (assuming that he is Aerith, and truthful). Also, this could be another reason why the antagonists skipped a day.....to get closer to killing Aerith.
