from what I understand, he will die the night of the following day. So we still have his ability AND vote tomorrow.

Here's the thing about the message; I couldn't tell if it's flavor..or dialogue

When I looked at it again recently I thought..."could it mean '(YOU) follow vette and dsister'.. like a command, to do what they do...spoken from a mafia to a mafia, like:

Mafia 1: "Mafia 2, I know you haven't played in a while so if you don't know what to do just follow vette and dsister. Whatever they vote you vote."

or something like that. But I thought that was a ridiculous scenario. There could be other interpretations but without the other half of the info, I'm basically looking at nothing.

So, when I have nothing I just fall back on what evidence I do have, and there's evidence in every single post and attitude and playstyle. Following your vote ended badly. I just gave up on my info. I realized it was a burden.I wondered how my play would change if I had a cop role and had to rely on what I really did know for certainty, rather than what I could discern directly from people playing. I feel like I would get dependent on that kind of information thereby numbing my actual ability. So yes, I've given up on it. I feel like I'm trying to change my environment to match my info, and it's just not working and I'm distracted because of my frustration.

I couldn't agree more. My job (especially after how easily I was mislead last game) is to prevent any scum from misleading us townies. Even if it means being a skeptic paranoid asshole. So don't take it personally. Did you see how easily GoW was crushed just by me asking whether or not 2 people were mentioned in the flavored text? So I must be doing something right.

That was a bluff on nen's part. It had to be, it would have happened already if it was the case. Without the second half I wouldn't put much stock into my info. It looks like it was meant to be intentionally misguiding as kind of a warning not to use it without the second half. It's been more dangerous than good honeslty.
