They might be busy trying to fight piracy.

Yeah, piracy is likely gonna kill any chance of making a profit.

You don't know Bungie if you think they won't try to get as much money as possible.

For some reason I doubt Bungie is doing anything per se.

I imagine MS has a team of people that specifically deal with preventing piracy.

Why is Bungie so silent about reach, the game is going to release in less than 58 hours, and there have been very few Reach updates on Bungies homepage, you'de think they would be updating like crazy to keep the hype rolling. Or could it be that they are all too busy sitting around in their new castle playing multiplayer O.o

If you read the latest update they are ready to flip the switch on the site for Reach and have shit load of updates in the pipeline like Forge and Firefight tips/guides and also the staff are all over U.S.A and the Globe at launch party's and events before launch.

I checked the seeders and peers on thepiratebay for Reach and surprisingly it's not very high.

Also Bungie have been heavily monitoring their own forums to prevent users with pirated/early copy leaking spoilers.

They are working on their new PS3 game and don't care anymore.

I've been trying to steer clear from the bungie website and any other Halo news articles for as long as possible. Though I find it strange that I haven't seen any advertising what-so-ever on the tv, at shopping centres or even at the movies (I remember seeing a trailer for ODST last year) here in Australia.

>_> Halo 3 had an awesome advertisement campaign in aus.

@Myak  dont know whats going down in Australia but Ive seen quite a few advertisments in the states but thats probably to be expected

I thought this was about them selling out to Activision.

They have joined the enemy. NO BUNGIE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Lol this is what I was expecting as well.

They probably won't be saying too much.  If they come out talking numbers and it sounds like they are gloating, the haters will hate even worse than normally.  So basically they are doing their job, which is nothing at the moment.  Once it smashes MW2's numbers (single console) then they will probably issue a comment and be done with it.

Bungie is a classy company and they do shit right!

They have A LOT of work to do with the servers and b-net, after working so much with the game they might be taking a much needed break, probably playing the game with the reviewers and others online, enjoying the product of years of hard work and adding the new playlists.

And really they've been so open with everything about the game that at this point anything left to say it's either a surprise or a spoiler.
