You don't know Bungie if you think they won't try to get as much money as possible.

For some reason I doubt Bungie is doing anything per se.

I imagine MS has a team of people that specifically deal with preventing piracy.

I checked the seeders and peers on thepiratebay for Reach and surprisingly it's not very high.

Also Bungie have been heavily monitoring their own forums to prevent users with pirated/early copy leaking spoilers.
