I was in high school.... I was walking past the library and that was the exact moment that the second plane hit... I said to my self I was just there I didn't know they were making a movie with planes hitting the twin towers. later on that period it cleared up on to what had happened. That day was crazy all away around. 9 years already. My heart goes out to everyone who lost someone on that date 9 years ago....

5th grade I think. I remember getting home and seeing the towers burning on TV.

In Elementary School. I remember my principal having an annoucement about what happened. Rest in peace all those lives that have been lost.

Kindergarten (I feel so young). I didn't really "get it" at the time. 

I was at home, doing school. I remember getting a call from my dad saying to turn on the news. It was right after the second plane hit the tower.

I was in 10th grade in Science class we were watching it on tv.

I was in High School when the planes hit, in my first high school History lesson. We went into the town centre and there were crowds gathered around the electronics stores watching the news footage on the tv displays.

My first ever plane flight was a year and one day later, September 12th, 2002, from Manchester to Chicago.

I was doing some labouring on a building site and remember hearing the news on the radio. As I was in Northern Ireland it wasn't anything unusual hearing about terrorist attacks the only suprising thing was the scale of the whole thing.

senior year of highschool getting out of english class, everybody was running to the computer lab... the next class we just watched the news... i remember people talking about a draft or war... and then almost everyone leaving school that day
