Japan has been slowly accepting FPS and Western games in general this gen.

True, its because of the 360 we get so many Western games releasing there, and the fact that the PS3 later came onto the scene helped a lot. This is all despite the fact that the systems have otherwise struggled.

Now with the PS3 leading the region, itll be interesting to see how Western games continue to perform, its amazing even WRPGs do well there now even on the 360.

Assassin's Creed, God of War III, Uncharted 2, KZ2 and even MAG sold decent amounts...

Soon, I believe Japan will expand further in terms of accepting Western games.

I don't think they've been accepting western games much more than they have in the past.

No, it's not even going to boost it 3k let alone 5 or 10, Halo is nothing in Japan ..

Do you really think that? Halo 3 sold 62k FW and has sold 134k LTD in Japan. Do you think Reach is going to do that much worse?
