Forums - Sales - EMEAA up sept 4!

I believe pre-orders in the Americas for MoM are 152.000

with Japan and others it will most likely break 200.000, not exactly stellar.

My guess is it won't have the legs of other nintendo franchises, not sure word of mouth will carry this game

not sure what nintendo was thinking with this game

Around the Network

The game will make a profit that is what Nintendo was thinking

What I don't understand is why the PS3 didn't get at least a small sales boost through the release of the PSJailbreak. I've heard that Sony is holding back supply on PS3s because they are modifying them to be piracy-safe - is that the reason?

Good numbers for everyone, looking solid for sure.

Other M flopped pretty bad, so what then caused the Wii boost?  I'm really curious since it doesn't seem it was the launch of Metroid.

Next week could possibly see the Wii over 360 in EMEAA, then again just as good of a chance of it not.

Halo Reach hardware boost will be significant.

Wii has a good chance of reclaiming 1st next week, depending on how 360 fares in America. PS3 is massively down YoY, it is teh doomed!!!1 ;)

Metroid Other M flopping as I expected. Kirby will be the first real significant software in the West for Wii (at least in terms of sales).

PS3 increased from last week? finally picking up in sales I think.

Metroid bomb of the year?

360 still dropping.......

Metroid bombs..shame

It better be better in the NA. Ninty is actually supporting the game well, I see ads for it all the time

Good numbers all around for ps3/wii/360

It had tons of ads in the UK too

Looks like Metroid is the disappointment of the year in sales.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

People are waiting for the Move Bundle I guess

the ps3 will win no weeks this year at all, not even the week gt5 comes out, bookmark it.

Done

Metroid unimpressive, but it nicely boosted Wii anyway... This year likes to be quite bizarre.
