When you enter a thread, do you usually read every single post, read some, scan some, or scan them all? When you choose a thread, do you choose the ones that interest you, do you choose the newest ones, or do you just randomly choose one?

It depends on what kind of thread it is well for me at least. If it's something I'm interested about with a lot of comments already I'll do by best to read everything. However if it's like the SSBB i'll read the last two or three comments and a few on top of the particular page.

I read threads I'm interested into or that takes my curiosity. Like this title was vague so I wanted to see what it was and I checked it and now I'm responding. ^^
Also while reading threads, I usually just scan the posts quickly...

I just choose threads that interest me, but I'll read every message in the thread. Some more than once.
I will pick ones I am interested in, read every post, unless things get way off topic. And I usually, (but not always) only respond if the thread does not already contain a post reflecting my same thoughts or beliefs.
The posts are few and far between though.
Depends on the thread, sometimes I read all of them, sometimes I get straight to the point, or read some of them :P
I try to read every post unless its really long then i try to scan, but if its paragraph after paragraph i usually skip the post. I only look at the hot topics on the front page, I never really go into the real forum.
Yeah I mainly look threads on the Hot Topics section... rarely I go to the forum page

depends on the topic and length. I usually scan up to around 3 pages to make sure anything I post isn't just a repeat something that has already been said.
If the thread is longer than three pages, I'll usually scan the first page and read the last 2

a.l.e.x59,
Are you bored tonight? The forum topics sections is saturated with your avatar.
BTW, when I enter a thread, I read every post, even if there are 100+.
You never know what you might miss. It's the same compulsion that makes me collect every item and explore every corner in a game.
