Also, about your first video, how do you know that HE'S not a Republican plant? How did they figure him out so easily? There's no video of him talking to the conway crowd, and he jsut appears at a conway rally being filmed by the same guy. Don't you think that's a little coincidental?

The dude's name is Tyler Clay Collins, and he's a Democratic activist who was volunteering for the Conway campaign. There are screengrabs from his Facebook page out there if you care to go and find them.

And that proves that he is a democrat? I ask again, how do you know this isn't a republican plant?

Because plants are easy to discover when you bother to look at them for more then a few minutes.

If a plant is identified, they're screwed.  All it takes is basic background research to reveal if the person is a plant or not.

That's why plants use fake names.  So they can get in, say 1 thing stupid, then can't be tracked down.

but he used his real name. You guys still don't think that's suspicious? That he made himself easily identifiable, easily trackable, and easily filmed....

To answer your other post, you don't think honolulu is us soil?

Unless you think Rand Paul has a triple agent in his pocket? Yes, it proves just that.

I'm pretty sure this isn't a conversation worth having. You clearly have a massive hard-on for bashing the tea party. "LOL THERE SO STUPIDS DID U SEE WHAT JOHN STEAWARD SAID ABOUT THEM LAST NIGHT TEE HEE HEE HEE HEE HA HA HA HA" I'm less concerned with misspelled signs than I am with the fact that a guy can run for office on the promise to halve the deficit in his first 100 days only to end up quadrupling it. Even if the tea party is crawling with stupid motherfuckers, I doubt any of them are that bad with numbers.

Please get back to the teabonics I brought up.  I guess people will say some is legit, and we leave it at that.  I understand plants of hateful stuff, but not the stupidity.

Anyhow, anyone what to know where the base for the tea party came from?  Meet the remains of the Ron Paul campaign.  It was able to spring up quickly, because you had a bunch of annoyed individuals who were fed up before the election and are fed up now.  The bailout led to one Ron Paul organizer to start the tea party action when the guy on CNBC or Fox News suggested a tea party revolt.  It went off and running, and grew to bring others in.

The thing about this, as I had witnessed with the Ron Paul campaign, is no one controls it.  People come wandering in with this beef and that.  The KKK guy was likely a white supremist who came out to hear what was said.  And it is likely you get individuals of a range of opinions there, including LaRouche folks who do the Obama is Hitler.

I did just want to focus on the teabonics, because I am surprised people would be that off with their spelling.

When you want English to be the main language, you definite need to get the spelling correct.

As far as bad with numbers, how did Dubya do in regards to the deficit?  There was talk about halving it to under his administration.

So you think they are justifiable just because he is wrong? Badgenome. I love your humor, but this logic is just off. Tea party is one of the worst coalitions ever established. It's based off so many inconsistencies and so unfocused it's only natural to understand that it is a media created phenomenon. There's no real discussion or movement happening. It's engineered, and with that, carries the insubstantial rhetoric.

I'm not saying Obama has done a great job, or even a good job, or even just done his job. I'm saying that on either side, there are stupid people, and a lot of people can't spell.

Bush was pretty shitty, to be sure, but he's small potatoes next to Obama, who will double the national debt according to his own spending plans. Also, you know... Bush isn't the president anymore.

Alice represents the average Republican. The Mad Hatter is Glen Beck and the Hare is Rush Limbaugh.

It's just surreal to me how many people fixate on the tea party or Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck (neither of whom holds office at the moment) more than they do the people who are actually running the show. For Christ's sake, the entire Democratic platform this year seems to be, "The Tea Party is fucking crazy! (Also, George W. Bush!)" Expecting cogent, well-articulated platforms from a large and organic mass movement like the Tea Party (I guess it's not Astroturf after all!) is just unrealistic. "You spent too much money" isn't a bad theme, though, IMO.

Hey people make spelling and grammatical mistakes all the time.  And for places like forums, creative writing, and layback settings who gives a shit.  But when you are protesting a government you consider as overreaching and destructive to core values, you better damn well make sure that your message is not only comprehensible to those reading it, but that the language you use is representative of the symbol you are portraying for yourself and your group.  So simple spelling mistakes and wacky conspiracy theories will work on internet blogs but not a protests for a large group and whatever people want to say about you thereof, then who came blame them.  If you don't care enough to make sure you know how to spell, why should they care enough if your movement is worth something.  That's my opinion on the matter.

As Mafoo said, not being able to spell doesn't make you stupid.  In writing this, there were loads of words I didn't know how to spell and had to wait for spell checker.  Sure I still got some wrong.  However, it isn't going to change the opinion of people who are looking at someone who can't spell government right and really who can blame them.  So yea not being able to spell isn't representative of their intellect, but it sure as hell will be representative of what people think of them.

As for the credibility of the signs, I could really care less.  Both sides can go on a spiraling conspiracy story saying one side is trying to sabotage the other and it is really just silly.  Take it at face value and try not to make any overarching truth claims.  That being, not everyone can spell and while it doesn't make them stupid, it does make them lazy.  And when you are trying to get a serious point across, laziness isn't necessarily something you want to portray.

At least Obama supporters are smart.

And color coordinated.

And well-funded.
