1. Nobody asked for this.

2. Next time, read the topic.

Picked up Trilogy Tuesday now I can finally beat the first two Prime games without getting frustrated, will probably start it up this weekend, I just wish my Prime 3 100% completion transferred over

And now you see, I threw my MP2 like a frisbee when I figuired out after my countless hours of frustration I had 11% of the game done.

Okay

I kin of sympathize

But that is waaaaaaaay worse than what I'm talking about, whihch is kind of a backhanded excuse to talk about the Prime games

I had so many deaths, I tried to get everything I could, and I still was stuck. I had no problem with Hunters even though I coudn't finish it.

Echoes wasn't that hard--everything in there was perfectly managable.  Even the final boss battle that would easily last 45 minutes.  The battle after was kinda frustrating, but you can retry it over and over without having to fight that silly Emperor Ing again.

Retro knew how to make hardcore gaming.

Except when Nintendo forced 'em to dumb down Prime 3 so "anyone" could do it.  Fun game, lame dificulty.

I beat Fusion in under 1h50m. Does that count? Best completion was 81%

As for the first Prime. For 74% and under, you get the normal ending.

For 75% and above, you get the same ending except Samus takes her helmet off.

For 100%, you get to see Dark Samus' hand pop up out of a pool of Phazon.

In Prime 2, for 75% and above, Samus removes her power suit and you get to see her in the Zero Suit.

For 100%, Dark Samus materializes in outer space and makes a subtle gesture towards the camera (it's a far away shot, so it's hard to notice). Yours truly got this ending on Hard Mode on the GameCube. Took me a month.

Lastly, corruption. The 75% ending is the same as Prime 2.

The 100% shows Samus' ship going to warp and another ship following.

You're welcome.

I did 100% in Super, Prime 1, and Prime 3.  Fusion's asinine set-up and linear crap made collecting everything next to impossible.  My best time in Super was 1 hr 57 minutes, which did result in the best ending (so did my slightly slower 2 hr 13 minutes).  Other M, I did 97% (the game was getting on my nerves so I gave up).

My lowest finishing collection rate ever was my fast times in Super Metriod, which forced me to forgo a lot of items.

I don't think Metroid II kept track of anything but play time although I'm reasonably certain I picked up everything because there was only energy tanks and missiles and I think I had all 255 missiles and there weren't that many tanks.  I don't remember Zero mission.  I might have gotten 100% in that one since it wasn't too hard.

You have this a bit backwards.

Prime 1 had the most Nintendo involvement, while Prime 3 had the leat.

I didn't say anything about involvement, I said Nintendo wanted the game easy.  That doesn't require heavy involvement, just them telling Retro to pander to the casuals.  Which they did.

This is next on my list after I finish up FF13. I beat the first one 5 or 6 times back on gamecube, I was REALLY into it =) I've never beaten the other two though.

You're asking for people to cite absurd claims?  Silly Khuutra

Oh please. It's logic.  What other reason was there for Prime 3 to be so easy as to be playable by invalids?

Hell, the commercials were geared towards the casuals, not the Metroid fans.

I think you're just beginning to flame my posts simply because I have any amount of criticism of Nintendo.
