I considered myself a huge Metroid fan.  I never got my hands on Trilogy even though it's crazy cheap right now.  After seeing what's expected of you in Trilogy AND how Rol has already accomplished this (I didn't even get 100% in Fusion and Zero Mission!), I realize that I'm not such hot shit!!

It's crazy cheap right now?  Where?  I picked it up a few months ago and it was hard to even find then.  Of course, I picked it up brand new.

I think it's under $20 at Wal-Mart or Target or something.  I saw it a couple of weeks ago and said I better buy it now.  It may not be available, soon......and then I didn't buy it.

So I need to do it on Veteran and Hyper Mode?

For each game, no less? Looks like I need to get cracking.

If I skip to Veteran, does that count as beating it on Normal?

Yes, if you want all black dots.

Yes, for each game.

No, you have to beat each difficulty seperately, so that's nine playthroughs in total. Doing that with 100 % item completion each time it took me less than 60 hours, so...

God not to be rude but for me that would be torture

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Everybody approaches games differently.

Rol doesn't buy as many games as some people on this board but the once he plays and likes, he beats to freaking death. I'm the same way, but with very few games.

Some of us like learning a game inside and out

Yh i can understand that but
that thought of playing the same game over and over again on every difficulty collecting everything in a short space of time is tourture.

I start all my games on hard and try my best to beat it and if i do then that pleases me.

Usualy you get trophies or achivz like this

Beat the game on normal. Beat it on hard. beat it on extra hard.

But if you beat it on extra hard the first time you dont have to go back to the easier settings to get the full game trophy. And the thought of having to beat the same game on every level makes me shudder no matter what games it is

Some people don't play games to get achievements, they play them because they want to play them.

Yh i can understand that, i mean heck, i am the only person i know who has a platinum trohply on a wrestling game. You can't get more repetitive then that.

But me i just can't play a game on every difficulty setting no matter what game it is. I will play it on hard and if it's that hard that i lose track of the stroy from getting dead up too much then I will put it on an easier setting to enjoy the game for what it is.

Then for a trophy or achievement quest i will do the harder settings for a 2nd try.

If you play a game through all settings cause you love it then cool, but for me i really cant do it.

I just must be a casual gamer because i wanted the ps1 because of Nitro. Thats WCW the best wrestling promotion ever.

The PS2 because of smackdown 3.

The 360 because it had the best version of smackdown vs raw 2007.

I got the PS3 because i loved the games i seen for it. And the hardware. aka blu ray. Plus it was the next Playstation and i knew the quality of Sony games and that they were always my fav games

... sigh... I played the first Metroid Prime so much that I'm not really confident I can take two more runs to beat all the dificulties in Trilogy... (yes, only beat it once in MPT)

I love completing games.... it's just that now they added so much collectible crap to most games that it feels like a chore to complete them.... (then again playing a metroid again is still fun).

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

I just wish the Hard/Hyper Modes were instantly selectable for the first playthrough of each Prime game in the Trilogy.  I would've been happy with completing each of them on Hard/Hyper mode like I already did in the original releases.  I hate that I have to play on Normal/Veteran first before Hard/Hyper mode is selectable.

I'm finally sitting down to finish Echoes. I haven't seriously played it in five years or so. Starting fresh, naturally.

This game really has good atmosphere to start with. Going through that door and seeing those dead Marines, hanging from the ceiling and covered in bugs the size of small dogs? Hoo boy.
