Guess everyone ignored my post.  So guess I will bring it up again.  I'm just curious what everyone thinks about Black Ops releasing the week after GT5.  Black Ops is obviously going to be a huge releases, with company statements and our pre-order charts providing evidence for that.  Both titles will be huge, but I guess I just first want to hear what others think about both releasing in consecutive weeks.  I think it could be a factor in gauging how big each opener is.

l'll back you and say it will sell 3m first week.

I'm with you. It's certainly very possible. GTA4 sold more than 2.5 million on PS3 the first week, and it didn't have any bundles...if the comparison is weird then take MGS4, a game that was bundled, it sold around 1.8 million the first week. All my friends are getting GT5, and I know many guys who are not into gaming or have their PS3 as a blu-ray player (gasp!) that will be picking up the game/PS3 and THE game. I can't really think of a game with more value in it than GT5, it will keep me all christmas season very "busy".
