It looks like other games' concept art! I've always loved how tales games looked, the 3D ones that I've seen all seem to have a nice painting feeling to them, simply pleasant to look at and explore :)

To me at least, art and games serve different purposes. Art's main goal is to send a message, or invoke emotions. Games primary purpose is to entertain. While these two concepts can be, and often are intermarried, they are not one in the same.

There are plenty of games which can be considered "artistic," but rarely is it the focal point of the game, nor should it be.



I've been playing A Boy and His Blob recently, so I feel obligated to come in here and say that it is freaking beautiful.
