Fourth Installment in 'Disaster Report' Survival Series Coming to PS3 with Move and 3D Support

One of the most unique survival franchises (with painfully average review scores) is set to continue on the PlayStation 3 in Japan this winter. Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed [via IGN] that a fourth installment in the Disaster Report series--known as Zettai Zetsumei Toshi in Japan--is coming to the PlayStation 3 with Move and stereoscopic 3D support. Like the other games in the survival series, players will be thrust in the middle of a major disaster and must escape the crumbling city around them. The fourth installment will add player customization and the ability to explore the inside of buildings in search of food, water, and (now) bathrooms--forcing players to pay special attention to their survivor's cleanliness throughout the experience as they carefully juggle stress levels . The Irem-developed series previously made its way to North America on the PlayStation 2 with Disaster Report in 2003 and Raw Danger in 2007, with help from publisher Agetec. A third game in the series was released on PSP; however, it was not made available outside of Japan. While the third game in the series skipped international release, we're hopeful Irem will launch Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 4 for the PS3 in North America. It might have received average reviews, but Disaster Report is a lot of stressful fun.

Oh my god, wall of text!

Already posted by the way.

have anyone played these? they're awesome and quite unique, but not everyone going to like them because they're very atmospheric. and barely have any music so it felt very different from the generic EPIC MUSIC HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTT mood of other "Disaster" games, also this game is called S.O.S in the UK.

how similar is this to Disaster DoC?

I quite enjoyed that and thought it is one of the most underrated games this gen.  If so, consider me a little bit hyped for this game and hoping for a localisation

Yeah!

By the way, Raw Danger kind of sounds like a softcore porn flick.

Kinda, Day of Crisis is more like a rescue game, this game is a survival game, you play as normal people trying to survive, there is also multiple endings if some of them died or something like that.

here is a video for it
