It's awful small on my 42" LCD, lol. On my notebook, however, it's fine.

I have a 1280x1024 LCD, and I think this site is just fine. I actually hate it when sites take up the entire width of the screen -- it's much easier for humans to read text when the text isn't too wide, that way your eyes don't have as far to travel side to side when going to the next line. So I have no desire to see you use any extra pixels. Keep it where it is. :)

If you're going to modify the website, make it standards compliant. 

As it stands, the homepage alone fails validation with 322 errors.

Yes, it DEFINITELY could be wider....I use a 16:9 (1920x1080) display, and it ends up being a strip down the middle of the screen, unlike what other sites like avsforum have.
