Well, they can call themselves FF fans, but I call them PSX FF fans, that ones that actually think sephiroth is a greatest villain, and cloud the greatest hero!

Edit: Also that FF is a playstation franchise.

Maybe that tells something about jrpg-villains?

I'm not gonna go into that pointless debate, with arguments that are well known and tiresome. JRPG villains have as much flaws and virtues in characterization as any other genre villain. The problem is not with the characters themselves, it's how the genre is perceived nowadays.

If this voting was a generation before, it would paint a different outcome.

Happy team rocket won. And im realy really happy Sephiroth got knock the fuck out the competion. Final Fantasy fans are the worst. "omgz ff7 is the best game ever!" I don't even care whaat happens to RAAM, just glad to see the tears of the over gloatful bastards. Love the gamespot is doom comments. Keep it coming.
