Batman: The Brave and the Bold™ the Videogame, the new Wham! Bam! Smash! hit is crusading its way onto retail shelves on September 7 exclusively for the Wii™ and Nintendo DS™. This new action-adventure title gives crime-fighters of all ages a chance to team up with friends and family as Batman™ and a host of his powerful allies to put a stop to a DC Comics’ most notorious villains.

Now, players can get a sneak peek at the fun of Batman: The Brave and the Bold™ the Videogame in the brand new launch trailer, featuring Bat-Mite™ voiced by Paul Reubens. In the trailer, Bat-Mite teams up with his friends Batman and Green Arrow™ to battle evil in the Science Island Episode.

In Batman: The Brave and the Bold™ the Videogame players team-up to fight crime with friends as Batman or one of his powerful allies including Green Lantern™, Robin™ and Blue Beetle™. Featuring the same VO cast, great writing, humor and action of the animated series, players will explore diverse environments, from Gotham City and London to mysterious island laboratories and strange planets.

Funny commercial, I had never heard of bat-mite before, he was kind of annyoing. Was that character made up for this cartoon series? Looks like a good good game, although I'm not a fan of beat em ups so I dobtIwill be getting it.

No, at one point he was making frequent appearances in the comics. He first appeared in Detective Comics #267 (1959).
