Then I unpluged and repluged in the wires and I get the same result. That was my second 360 in less than 2 years. My first one lasted exactly one year and this one about 11 months. Time to call microsoft. |
Thank God ive been so lucky. My 360 went RROD yesterday and my 1 year warranty had like 12 days on it. Ive gone back to Gamestation and got a FALCON motherboard 360 and its fantastic.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

What sort of extra cooling are you using? From what I've read, the vast majority of failures with the 360 are related to thermal problems.

No way?!! A broken 360, somebody call CNN!
Don't call Microsoft, sue them! Yep.
Xbox death = big problem - ask my cousins husband
my friends x box just broke too. Look on the bright side, they give you a month free of X box live!
mine broke last night as well, bought COD3 2nd hand for £5.00 - got to the intro screen and there it was, unplugged it for 5 mins at it works fine but I only bought it in August and i reckon it's gonna go permanently soon.
Either way I cant relax now, playing the game after that and every time the screen went black I was waiting for it.
Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...
"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony
Send it back then, gawalls. You got that 1 year warranty for a reason.
In other news, after reading a few threads of returned/returning Xbox 360s, alot of the posters that work at various stores, that have always been besieged with "my X360 RRODed on me" complaints from owners, have stated that returns and RROD issues since the Falcon has gone down very, very significantly.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
