So I turned on my 360 and before I get to the dashboard it froze. I turn it off and on again and I get the screen of death. Then I unpluged and repluged in the wires and I get the same result.

That was my second 360 in less than 2 years. My first one lasted exactly one year and this one about 11 months. Time to call microsoft.

I'm pretty sure that the Gamerscore is linked with the Live account, so trnasferring Live accounts transfers gamerscore.

Sucks to that. I know 3 people (friends from school), all of which have got RRoD in the past week. So close to Christmas. I leant them some of my PS2 games to help them pass the time.

I bought Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Mario Galaxy last month. Kept my 360 well ventilated, horizontal, and out of reach to anyone. Never got past Creed's title screen. Played about an hour of Mass Effect. Got the RROD. I couldn't sleep until I got those games. Now I got them, and can't even play them until 2008. Why Microsoft? I loved you! I didn't deserve this.

Those COD4 kids are gonna be so much better than me when I get back.....
