Maybe Microsoft doesn't think it's user friendly enough?

I dont know if this has been posted already, but apparently kinect will support Canadian English....so it will work in Canada, it just wont support french...

"The good news is Canadian English will in fact be supported by Kinect at launch. “I think there was some confusion around that,â€Â said Flannagan. “To set the record straight, what we can expect at launch is some pretty broad support for Canadian dialects and accents.â€Â

The bad news for our friends in la belle province is all flavours of French, including Canadian French, won’t work with Kinect until next spring when the free update adds support for additional languages. Until then, my Montreal friends, you can come to my house and play with Tippy. Le rowr!"

Not only no Quebecios but no French at all at launch which is why us Canadians aren't see it.   Does seem rather silly, as a lot of people in Quebec can speak English, but it may be a political decision to delay us to avoid contraversy.
