I used to be like that as a Wii owner, so disappinted time after time. Now I game on PS3 and am SO glad that I made the choice! Tons of solid titles to play, and so much to look forward to for the coming months and next year too!

i'm the opposite , i had a PS3 and then bought the Wii , but i would go insane if i had only the wii, because one would be missing out on well 90% of this gen's finest.

good thing that i have all systems and handhelds now ^_^; , it was expensive but well worth it.

Well i say get a ps3 if u hav the cash i did that but im satisfied with both my wii and ps3 i mostly play first party titles but for some reason im more interested in wii 3rd party offerings and on the ps3 its just eternall odyssey well i think thats what it is lol there are too many shooters though definatly.

Search metacritic through the genre you like and some good games shouild come up.

Many of the best games got very different reviews. For Example Fragile Dreams, Fire Emblem, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories etc. On the other hand I found some of the hyped games like GTA4, Mass Effect, Conduit, Killzone, Monster Hunter 3 quite boring.

Since 2007 I don't read Wii game reviews at all. There are to many boys in the editorial that don't like Wii games because they don't get the controls or don't like the fact that the Wii has no HD graphics. 1up, gameinformer & Co. obviously don't like the Wii at all.

I have a PS3, a xbox360 and a Wii. Almost all of my most beloved games runs on the Wii. In 2010 the Wii has obviously the greatest Line-Up of all three consoles.

grab yourself a cheap DS, a FFVII is your favourite game, you will be in RPG heaven on the DS.  You've got the FF games, DQ games, TWEWY, fire emblem, mario and luigi, disgeia , valkyria profile, soma bringer, etrian odyssey, chrono trigger, SaGa 2 remake, heroes of might and magic and loads more.

If you love RPGs, the DS probably has the best current gen line up for you 

It's quite ironic that some people suggests him to buy a PS3. He likes playing with Nunchuk and Wiimote and not with last-last-gen PS3 controls :)

I am shure you have overlook some good Wii games, because there are so many really good games out there. 2010 has been gamewise the best Wii year so far and it seems that this continues for the rest of 2010 and 2011.

Don't let reviewers pressure you into not liking things you thought great.

Instead, be a man, and let VGCers pressure you into guying games that they like.
