it would probably be a good idea to check that there is a free PCIe slot on your motherboard before you drop any money down. You probably do but it's always best to be safe than sorry.

Thanks. Id have to get someone to see it for me. Like I said, me = dummy.

Theres so much to think when it comes to upgrading a PC, that Im inclined to just forget it and keep on consoles only.

PC upgrading does have a bit of a learning curve but once you get used to it it's not a big deal.

Of course they can be different colors and stuff. You will need the PCIe x16 probably for your video card. Furthermore, you get a lot more bang for your buck from the PCs.

How much is the HD 5570 over there in comparison to the HD 3850?

Also could you post a picture of your computer, I want to know whether its big and bulky or slim/sleek.

More than twice the price.

And my PC is slim/sleek (it says HP Pavillion Slimline on the tower too), but I cant show you the inside. Like I said, it was a package deal, so opening the tower voids the extra warranty.

Thanks for all the help guys. But for now Im just gonna stick to consoles like always. Its easier.

@vlad - I cant open it so your pic wont help. But thanks anyway.

CAn you post a pic of the back of the PC.. your slimline may lack the space to expand... I'm actually pretty sure you can't add a videocard...

-edit- a missed that.... nevermind
