@ Art & El Duderino - Guys, I've been through depression too and I know, it's no fun. But you have to hold onto faith, faith in God, faith in yourself, faith in life, something, and know things will get better. Life is a serious of up and downs. If you do not wallow in the down then you will find yourself going back up. But depression is blinding and at times you can see which way is back up. Short term solution. Fake it. Do those things you did when you were happy. Eat (even when you feel you can't), talk (to anyone who will listen), dance (although you don't want to). There's a direct connection between body and brain. If the body does the happy stuff, the brain will follow suit. You'll start to feel a little better. Really. Then DON'T stop, keep it going...
Most important - talk it out man!! Problems are always amplified in our minds. When you begin to discuss them with others they shrink in size and become manageable. Whatever you do, get out of yourself. Being alone in a depressed mind is a terrible place to be and it won't get better until you take a step to get out of your own mind.

Message me if you like. We all have to stick together.

Chin up man, and don't listen to kber. There is nothing wrong at all with seeking professional help. My sister went through severe depression for over a year and nothing we could say and nothing she did helped her get out of it, but after some therapy she's doing great. Happily married and moving on with her life. Just don't give up. Life is tough, but there are always things you can do to help yourself.

Therapy and kg. of drugs right ... bealive me , my mother and my sister are both psychologists ( spellcheck ) , and they allawys advise people to try and resolve their problems first , via friends , relatives , by themselves , and if that doesnt helps neither , than you go to a pro .

The thing is that the cure for it is allways in you , a person can only help you to fnd it . Best of luck from me , and I do hope that youl feel batter soon . I allways like to live my life , with a smile on my face :)

( PS: and I thought this was a joke topic ... ) .

Sometimes it's better to tell your feeling to people you don't know because they can't tell any of your secrets to anyone you know. Don't tell us what's happening to you if you don't want to, but I'm sure a lot of us here are willing to help you get back on track with our comments.

Anybody know if artofangels is O.K. We need to keep those going, so that he knows we are behind him and there for him. If you see it getting to the bottome of the list...post an encouraging word.

Realize, Art, that I will be checking your Last Login time frequently. If I see you havent been online in a couple days/weeks, I may start to wonder if you're ok. At any rate, how've you been? Let us (or just me through PM) know. Hang in there, friend.
