No what I'm trying to say is exclusives aren't the be all end all of gaming but for fanboys exclusives are the holy grail of gaming which I disagree with. Personally the most hours I've spent on a game this gen have all been third party (Fallout, Borderlands). Granted exclusives wise the PS3 is just sprinting ahead not only in numbers but in quality as it has been for a couple of years now and MS are having to rely more and more on console and timed exclusives. Still best selling game on either console is MW2 right?

Yay for jumping to conclusions 4 months before 2011 has even started. I have to admit that the 360's exclusive lineup for next year is a bit barren at the moment though.

My guess?

Gears of War 3. Confirmed release date.

XCOM. Projected release date: 2011. Could turn out to be a timed exclusive.

Kingdoms. It seems like MS wants this to be the next Gears of War. Probably a fall release.

New Turn10 project. FM in 05, FM2 in 07, FM3 in 09, new game in 2011? Probably a fall release.

Digital distribution. The 360 has been killing the competition this year with Game Room, PD XBLA, Toy Soldiers, PB Winterbottom, Limbo, Hydro Thunder, Monday Night Combat and a few others. I expect to see the same kind of support in 2011 as well.

There's also a few upcoming low key 360/PC releases such as Captain Blood, The Last Templar and Death to Spies III. I don't expect a lot from them, but you never know.

You said ME2 will be superior on the PS3? How do you know that? Unreal Engines always perform better on the 360. And I will have already played the main game and at least 2 downloadable missions before it's out on PS3 next year. That's an agonisingly long wait from Jan 2010. And ME2 is nowhere near far superior to RDR. Have you even completed both to compare? I have. Mark my words if Bioware doesn't strip down the game engine and use the SPU's in the ways Naughty Dog and Santa Monica have (which they won't) and simply port the 360 version (which they will but with optimisation) it will be the inferior one. Even if a little. One thing is almost guaranteed. No AA and bloom. Will it have depth of field? Most likely. Also on 360 ME2 doesn't downgrade the textures or screen tear to keep framerate @ 30fps so it drops frames instead. Now 360 has 512mb of unified memory, PS3 has 256mb of video ram...will they downgrade the textures, or screen tear or...?  There will be some advantages for the PS3...one disc and (hopefully) superior CG and audio.

Thats the problem when you build a exclusive library based on 3th party devs, they need to buy studios and focus in hired developers to microsoft game studios, they are suffering now because right now the 3th partys are not in the mood to lose the PS3  potencialsales (almost 40 millions of users).

And right now they are doing the same, look their next projects Kingdome (Crytek), Gears 3 (Epic), X-com (2K).

Hmmm, it seems Gears would be the sole fighter in 2011 against PS3 onslaught, what would happen if Gears went multi-plat? WWIII on VGChart?

Microsoft dont own Epic you know (FFXIII went multi-plat even Sony own part of Square-Enix stock, the irony), and PS3 fans money are just as good as Xbox fans money, and I bet Gabe Newell being a super spiteful PS3 hater falls down to the sound of 'ka-chink' might give them some inspiration.

x-com is also on pc. they also release crappy pc games like ninja blade, risen and dead something.
