The PS3 List has both.
Atto Suggests...:
Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series
Game - Metro Last Light
TV - Deadwood
Music - Forest Swords

All the titles I mentioned have high potential for quality on the PS3 and 360 side.

And MS "wasted resources" because they developed games which don't appeal to "S.T.A.G.E." What about the millions of people who love to play Wii Fit every day? Did Nintendo waste resources, too? |
Um no. What are you talking about? I own both systems and want the best out of both of them (of course so I can capitalize as well as many others). This is something relatively simple which you're turning into a flame war. Microsoft will be short on the AAA exclusives next year......extremely short. 2011 will be the year of Kinect and I am listing hardcore AAA titles. As I said, I did not add Move titles either and it is still lopsided. First of all Microsoft played it smart this gen by focusing on the hardcore and it gave them the lead over Sony. Microsoft are now pandering to casuals and if it succeeds this could offset the hardcore vision the 360 once had as an alternate to Sony products. Does it look like Sony's devs took the hardcore out of their mind while making move titles? No. They had both the casual and the hardcore on their minds. You're making this about what I want and I feel that you're missing the point by a mile. This is only concern because regardless of what you might think or feel. I will have the best on both systems regardless of what you think, whether its in smaller doses on Microsofts part in 2011 or not. Concern is concern.
P.S.
Microsoft dropped the ball with RARE plain and simple. They went from a groundbreaking developer to lackies for casual titles. Now that they felt down in the dumps Microsofts Molyneux to be their knight in shining armor. Molyneux has done nothing big in my eyes to help Microsofts image increase. It's all been in part to Mass Effect, Halo and Gears and I love all of those games. The difference between many here and I is I am not afraid to call a companies bullshit. Hell...some people pull the fanboyism card just because I do. I'll say my piece on Sony and Microsoft as I see fit whether they are doing well or dropping the ball. I am a fan of neither. I don't know why I have to keep repeating this to you guys.
@S.T.A.G.E. - So just because Rare quickly put together a casual title so MGS would have some launch titles for Kinect now means that they will only develop quick cash-in casual titles?
Really?
This gen, rare has done Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, two Viva Piñata games and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Looking at the what went into those games, you really think that titles like Kinect Sports are all they have in the works, even for Kinect??????
REALLY??!!
For the record, not jumping on you as MANY have taken their shots at Rare, but I sure can't wait until they surprise us all when we see what they've REALLY been up to for the last 2 years . . .

I waited Tigris and I still am. I no longer see Rare as having the leadership to take on the same great projects that they had in the past save for Viva Pinata. I believe it's time to finally put Perfect Dark to rest as Microsoft needs a new IP. I was eagerly awaiting Killer Instinct but still nothing. It's not like I'm selling my 360 am I? No. I am just stating that one company which Microsoft has under their wing has fallen from grace. That is all. If Sony screws up this bad with devs I'll say it too (as i've said it before in the past with Ninja Theory). Rare was known for highly creative new IP's. That Rare....sadly has become reduced to nothingness. As I said before...when Microsoft sends Peter Molyneux to help Rare out because of work and mental pressures you know its near to Rares death. The main Rare guys who started it all left as well which lowered the quality of anything you can expect. Even after all that I still believed in the childhood Rare I grew up with. It's not the same man....its just not the same.

I was joking...although with the fanboy blight on this forum I can see how you could what misintreprate that. Any MS has a habit of waiting till the last second to announce games, so we really don't know what it's gonna look like.
How is Rare near death? They're making Kinect Sports, which looks ok, and they've been doing all the Avatar stuff, which has been very profitable, certainly more than you can say for their latest projects. Answer me this Stage, why is it ok to put Perfect Dark to rest and not Twisted Metal? Your logic abounds with double standards, which I've already pointed out by you having FF XIV on the PS3 list.
Man the 360 crowd sure is fired up over this one. The truth of the matter is though, PS3 owners aren't sweating bullets waiting for more games to come out or be announced. More games will definitely be announced from here until the end of 2011 for the PS3.
The 360 owners on the other hand have to absolutely pray and hope that Microsoft has plans for games beyond Gears 3 to last them all of 2011. Because, it doesn't matter who you are. That list is very barren. And while I am sure it will grow....Will it grow even remotely enough to matter?
Uncharted 3 alone would equal the 360 lineup of Gears of War 3. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Kill Zone 3 is arguably comparable to and at worst a small step below those two games. Which again just further tips the scales. Twisted Metal is a huge franchise with a solid fanbase and following it may Metacritic in the 80s but it will have a hardcore following. Resistance has been a solid B level franchise since day one the PS3. 3 will likely continue this. Infamous again is a franchise hovering around Uncharted / Kill Zone status....Looks to be greatly improved over the first one. Last Guardian is to iffy to be released in my opinion but I am hopeful and FFXIV doesn't interest me since it's almost definitely timed exclusive.
Kinect and Move don't belong in this yet because quite honestly either one could completely flop and fail. (If I were betting, I would bet Kinect but that is just a different story for a different day). To my eyes, the Move lineup is superior anyways with more titles to boot and it appears more titles are being given legacy support for Move (See Heavy Rain) or included support with Move and Regular control options (See LBP2/Killzone 3). Something that I really haven't seen too much out of Kinect yet. And to even further the point, there is a strong chance that a lot of third party Wii games will make their way over exclusively to Wii/PS3 because of similarity in controls.

I can pretty much bet there will be better 3rd party games than most of those games. And is Yakuza considred AAA? The last FF was disappointing, KZ2 had a mediocre campaign (and 150ms latency), TM may turn out meh and as much as I like Resistance 2 and Infamous it's only 87 and 85 on metacritic respectively.
Still rather all that then Kinect Adventures.

If Versus really launches in 2011 its an open and shut case lol.
