i remember reading once that sony developers released the pspgo as an "experiment."  it wouldnt surprise me if that experiment was to make the ps4 exclusively digital downloads or not.  personally i think they should keep the setup they currently have with the ps3.

I'm hoping for a commitment to have all content accessible both digitally and physically. I, personally, wish to ditch the disc, but I fully understand that most parts of the world couldn't possibly support such a service, not within this decade, anywho.

Oh, and, I'd be willing to pay pretty much standard price for a digital copy of a game. For me, the physical copy would need to be significantly cheaper before I considered it over digital.

If it were digital only, we'd be seeing the biggest failure of a home console since the Virtual Boy.

The only way I will purchase digital over physical is with a huge price reduction or a lot of extra incentives.  Next gen will probably come with flash drives as their physical medium.  As an example if the game is smaller it will only need a 10gb flash drive or smaller and if its bigger they charge a little more for the bigger drive. 

Either way it wont be long till there simply isn't a choice in the matter.  And I will seriously hate that day because I enjoy keeping all of my movies and games put up so everyone can see my collection.

Keep the Game Case, Take out the Disc, replace with a Download code, leave the manuals.

Piss poor sales were inevitable without the UMD drive. The masses don't want to buy full priced games digitally.

I mean people barely buy PSP games as is. And they think people want to buy them digitally? Its retarded.

I like taking my games to my friends house and playing them. I wouldn't want to have to redownload it every time or even worse not have the option to.

why would they even think of being digital only? there's not sense at all to make it digital only, specially right after psp go
