Forums - Sony - Why are you getting move?

Sorcery only needs the Move as far as I'm aware.

I'm sure I saw a video with someone using a dualshock in one hand and the Move in the other playing it... so I'm guessing if you don't like the idea of holding a dualshock in one hand you might need the sub-controller too.

If you think about it the movement seems directed vs on rails so I'm sure an anaolgue stick (i.e. dualshock or sub-controller) is needed alongside the Move (which covers the wand movements and interaction from what I can tell).

When u say sub controller you mean the navigation controller right? This one, yes?

How much Move costs again?

Let's say I want to play Sorcery, what do i need to purchase?

the ps eye and the wand. that would be about a total of 70-80$

ot: im getting move to play dance dance revolution!

Yeah but I need the Move navigation controller for proper controls. So I guess that means 100 Euros?

the dualshock can be used as the nav. the only thing you use is the analog so it will be easy.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

I am getting the Move (eventually) because Sony and their developers seem to have a good idea of what I would like to play with motion controls. Not only that, but they seem to have gotten down the playing mechanics the Wii and the 360 seem to lack. Sorcery, Time Crisis, The Fight, RE5 all look like fun with the Move. To play Heavy Rain with the Move would be awesome as well.

I agree. Just from the videos of other ppl playing makes me want the Move. I've played the Wii several times with my friends, but after about 30 minutes my usual response is "Man turn this shit off." I don't see that happening if I'm playig Heaqvy Rain, or SOCOM. Kinect still looks pretty cool to me though, but I don't think they have the right games for it coming out yet.

Well I'm getting (99% sure) for Sports Champions, Resident Evil 5, Sorcery, Echochrome ii and maybe Dead Space Extraction (which will be sold on PSN too). That's just for now, I was even tempted to play MAG with Move.

Wow, a lot more people are buying it on here than I originally thought.  That's cool.  I'm buying it for KZ3, Sports Champions, Scorcery, and Heavy Rain (thank god for patches.)  I think it blows that Capcom is bringing support only for the GE, but since I haven't purchased RE5 yet, I may get that game.  And for the kids, I'm getting it for Eye Pet and LBP2.  Ok, those are for me, too.

BTW, does anyone know if there are plans to patch Planet Mini Golf for the Move?  I think that would be loads of fun if they did.

Sweet!  Made the Move just that much more of a must buy.  Know if anymore PSN games are getting patches? I think i read that High Velocity Bowling was getting one.

Another reason why I need the Move. I think Flower is getting patch (I hope), and I REALLY hope Flow gets Move support.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

i am buying it mainly for RTS games!

with 2 out the gate and a 3rd on the way, and with more next year it seem's RTS games are going to have great game experiences with the Move controller functionality on the PS3
