Forums - Nintendo - (Rumor) NIntendo working in two games for the uDraw tablet

Maybe this thing can have a future after all

At Gamescom we learned more about the close work that Nintendo had with THQ in its development, thanks to THQ director Luis Gigliotti. With that news alone, the possibilities of a Mario Paint 2 are now greater than ever. That’s just a wish though, but internally, I know of two games currently going under consideration by Big N themselves.

Without breaking any non disclosure agreements that I have, I can say that “both games are designed with the mass market gamer in mind, yet honor the passion of traditional gamers.” Rest assured, if either game gets approved, I’ll be the first to know and the first to put up the story (when allowed).

it's a cool idea.

It failed with sega's pico, but it may have potential.

Is the peripheral made by nintendo, or someone else?

Great!!

the uDraw was designed and manufactured by THQ surprisingly.

Anyway, Mario Paint please?

Drawn to Life will certainly be made for this. I think a Scribblenauts game has a good chance as well.

Mario Paint Wii anyone?

Nintendo using a third party peripheral would definatly boost the support it gets from THQ. Not to mention it would encourage other third parties to launch their own peripherals. Can you imagine if Nintendo had supported UbiSoft's motion capture camera like Kinect that they launched last year?

Also it would mean alot of money made by the third party developer. Everyone would want to pick up Nintendo's title and in order to play it they would need to buy the third party peripheral!

That would be impressive to see Nintendo working with a 3rd paty like that. I think if they are actually working on titles the potential of the device goes from moderate success 2-3 million lifetime, to sky's the limit 5 million . If nintendo is actually working on software for the device than I think this device could end up helping Wii hardware sales as well.

If Bob Ross Wii really comes to reality.. million seller!!!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Maybe Nintendo supporting THQ is the reason Ubisoft talking smack about Nintendo Wii being GC refurb.?
