This was close to becoming nearly true, but AOL backed out of the deal last minute. The PSN would have existed before XBL if the deal happened, but all we got was a crappy link system in the end. It works, was very functional, but wasn't well supported.

OT: That's pretty good news, though I still think they should postpone the launch. They have some bugs they can work out and they could probably have a larger launch if it wasn't releasing alongside heaps of games and other hardware.



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I agree. Other language will come. I am not a native English speaker, and I don't really care as long as it works. 

It seems that some PS3 people are so disappointed that MCV released a bogus news..LOL

Who says its just going to be English?  Maybe they have the "Major" languages done and they are simply working on the ones that fewer people speak, or god forbid ones where they have tiny markets.  

I would be willing to make a bet that Spanish, German, English, and French will be completed at launch.  Even if it were only released in English it makes since to launch now.  It would be a disaster if they didn't launch this holiday season, millions of dollars lost and all the hype thats surrounding Kinect destroyed.

Besides who cares about the rest of the world :P

It's already been debunked.  But there certainly have been a lot of smoke and mirrors this gen, esp... in the Sony camp.  Remember when they were talking up the CELL and how this gen wouldn't start till it arrived?  LOL.....

I would love to think you actually did care but I seriously doubt you are even considering purchasing a Kinect system even one with 1 million languages. Lets just wait and see how this pans out we do not know which languages are affected. I think it is pretty obvious not all languages will be supported on release. Hopefully Spanish, French and German will be supported. EMEA is big with lots of languages.

Didn't said I knew everything about kinect languages, did I ? 

If Kinect doesn't support my native language (which is not english) than, no, that's one reason to not be interested by it.
