So, my gfs sister is finally leaving and I'm getting the wii back. I don't know if she will give me the games she bought, or if she will keep them... honestly I'm just glad she's not keeping it.

Anyway, metroid is next week? 

I already have endless ocean ii on order from ebay, and I'm going to get muramasa. 

Anyone have any recommendations for a traditionally core gamer? I expect polish or style in my games, and I prefer some difficulty. I don't think I will be interested in any monster hunter action though. I'm tired of grinding.

Ignore the children that dismiss MadWorld--true the game is on the short side, but it's a total blast, and very much for the hardcore gamer.

Also, don't forget No More Heroes 1 & 2 and Red Steel 2. 

Lastly, also ignore the wankers that dismiss House of the Dead: Overkill and Dead Space Extraction.  Those people dismiss the games for being "just rail shooters" and are of the whiny Nintendo fanbase that can't be happy with what they have.

Prior to Metroid: Other  M coming next week, the only other worthwhile hardcore games that Nintendo made/released were Metroid Prime 3 and the Super Mario Galaxy titles.

People didn't complain over Overkill, because House of the Dead is a rail shooter. People complained over Dead Space Extraction because Dead Space wasn't a rail shooter.

Honestly, I've been occupied. I have a ps3 and PC and I play both a lot. There just never seemed to be enough room, especially when she lived in a house with 5-6 people and was basically the perfect atmosphere for a party system.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I hardly have time for my portables with so much to play on PS3 and Civ4 on the Pc (which is really all I need on the PC to keep me occupied for hours on end xD).

As well as what is already mentioned I would get Little King's Story, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, NSBWii and SSBBrawl

Looking at your game collection, you don't have Okami for your PS2, you might want to get that

I have brawl. I hated it. It was one of the reasons I decided to part with the wii. I'll probably just sell it.
