Ignore the children that dismiss MadWorld--true the game is on the short side, but it's a total blast, and very much for the hardcore gamer.
Also, don't forget No More Heroes 1 & 2 and Red Steel 2.
Lastly, also ignore the wankers that dismiss House of the Dead: Overkill and Dead Space Extraction. Those people dismiss the games for being "just rail shooters" and are of the whiny Nintendo fanbase that can't be happy with what they have.
Prior to Metroid: Other M coming next week, the only other worthwhile hardcore games that Nintendo made/released were Metroid Prime 3 and the Super Mario Galaxy titles.
