lol, i'm from the UK, dont agree with the shite they're saying. the defense minster making these accusations is probably just using this to make himself more popular in the media. they love to take potshots whenever they can.

anyway these people like to target video games, but they dont seem to like to target other things like the film industry. i havent seen the Hurt Locker, but if they're so concerned why dont they ban that. and while they're at it why dont they start burning books that talk about the War on Terror. i mean video games arent the only form of this material reaching the mass public, why dont they target the other ways if they're really so concerned.

From how I understand your sentence you are saying that all the inhabitants of the UK are stupid and do not like what other people enjoy. You shouldn't make such a generalization based on the conduct of one person.

I wasn't really saying everyone from the UK is stupid. I just mean we have a lot of "fun police" here.

You aren't even allowed to smoke indoors in a bar for example here. Infact. The only workplace you are allowed to smoke in is actually the Houses of Parliament. I don't even smoke and I find it annoying. They just don't like people here having there own choice, so they complain at everything.

GOOD, why the heck should people breath in second hand smoke, it's disgusting. They can keep their cancer away from me ta very much.

I don't necessarily like breathing it in. I just think it's stupid and annoying that the only place you can do it, is the place where the people who banned it work.
