Do they have buffets in the U.K. I'm just wondering, that's all. lol

Yes, sadly. The food quality is usually dire and you eat far too much. I went to one for my friends birthday the other week, you could physically taste the salt and everything was strategically done to try and hinder you (the height of the chairs, the size of the plates, the cost of the drinks, etc). I spent most of the night trying to keep it down. That said, I do support the Pizza Hut all you can eat buffet.

But yeah, when you see people who are obese for no reason other than they eat too much food it's kind of repulsive.

People who are too thin are almost as bad though.

lol, not sure what that has to do with anything, I never really go to theme parks, wouldnt have anyone to go with.

the why is either something youre gonna see or you arent really, if you dont, then you probably wouldnt understand (I know this sounds horrible, but im sorry, there really isnt any other way I know how to put it)

You're right, I don't understand :P

The rides and attractions thing is based on my earlier post.

If you look at the fact that the Corn Syrup came out at arund the 80s and the obesity rates started going up around the 80s there isn't much else you can argue. The shit they use in just about EVERYTHING is that damned corn syrup, it is highly caloric and since it is less sweet than actual sugar they need to put a lot more of it in there.

The corn itself is a very caloric food and it is one of the highest subsidized, if not the most, crop. It is used in everything , adn well, food pyramid, whatever that cow ate you are eating too.

I think the biggest two problems with obesity are:

 - The cost to health care systems.
 - The needless driving up of the demand for food, increasing prices, and thus pushing more of the world's poor into starvation.

Obese people, in my view, should not be protected from discrimination. They are killing themselves, and, indirectly others. They are driving up costs everywhere, and are unsustainable. Frankly, they're not all that great to look at, either.

90% of the time, it's a lifestyle choice, like smoking or drinking, and has very similar costs to society. Yet, it's okay to ridicule smokers, and picking on the fat kid is bullying >_>

I think a movie called food inc. breifly talks about this. So your saying the agriculture system is all about profit and mass production, rather than the quaility of the food.
