Hmm... I think Square just won me back. I've been on the fence with them ever since FFX-2, but this recent streak of top-notch games shows me that they might be making games for the gamer again, not for the money.

By life end:

No, I'm pretty sure they've always made games for the money and that some people that enjoyed them became deluded and convinced themselves that it was "for the gamer" because games like Chrono Trigger couldn't have possibly be made with the intention of some profit along the way.
