the same fule is shown installing on PS3 as the above listed

Its installing the backup manager, yes....

but the dongle runs a programme that tricks the PS3 into thinking its a debug unit I think.

God of war 3 took 90 minutes..

That's not too long... and switching on and off your ps3 is not that  big of a problem..

I dont think many people care how long it takes, no ones gonna just watch it download for 3 hours, there gonna download it and go do something else so it really doesnt matter how long it takes.Also if your in a game, and you exit the PS3 usually restarts anyways.

99% of the time once its hacked, its hacked for good.  It might take a little while to update their hack from a patch but generally not to long.  There are millions upon millions of dollars for these people to keep the hack going.  And trust me, they will keep it going for that money.  

I bet this effects Sony's attach rate like it has for the 360.  Once the other hackers get this dongle they will reverse engineer it for theirselves, then they will be able to drive down the price.  And I will take a bet that within a year the price will be $50 or less.  

Long ago I knew several people who hacked DirecTV and they had to use dongles and stuff like that.  When the hack first happend they paid a shit load for it.  But within 3 or 4 months it was half the price, then 3 or 4 months from that it was half the price or less.  Because the other hackers were making them and that creates an incentive to drop the price.

Im going to start using this if sony doesnt patch it. I have bought 12 PS3 games, and $399.99 for a ps3 and had to get it repaired TWICE. Honestly, I'm not gonna feel guilty at all playing free games since I've spent over $1000 this generation on games, especially when i get to play new games that are $80 for free :) . I'll probably buy the ocasional game though, such as Killzone 3 and MAYBE LBP2
