Forums - Sony Discussion - Konami: No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise on PS3 in Europe, with Move!

Konami Europe has picked up the rights to No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise, the Feelplus-developed HD port of No More Heroes -- but seemingly just the PS3 version and not the Xbox 360 release. To make the news even more baffling, Konami is adding PlayStation Move support. That's right, the motion controls that were replaced in the game's transition from Wii to PS3 are back!

Both previous No More Heroes games were published in Europe by Rising Star Games, which was first a subsidiary of -- and then a content partner with -- Japanese publisher Marvelous Interactive. We're following up with Konami's American branch to find out whether Travis Touchdown will appear in HD in North America. The European release is scheduled for 2011.

awesome

oh my gosh... this is pretty huge..

Thye just ported one of the wii's best core games, improved it's visuals, made it HD, and added more precise controls.

So basically it's PS3 exclusive in the west too.. o-O imagine, if they start making Wii/PS3 games.. that would mean the ps3 would share the majority of the 360 library and the Wii library, plus sony's first party!

A person can dream =)

Yep, and I think this was one of SOny's intentions from the begining as well ;)

I doubt it was Sony's intention to get a late port; I think they would spend more time getting something more worthwhile.

you couldn't have missed the point more...chances are all major non 1st party games made for the wii will end up on the PS3 as well, can't blame them considering how they sell right now...that's the point we are trying to make

THis is (and DS Extraction comes to mind too) just the begining ;)

Dead Space: Extraction is a bad example regarding the Wii's trouble with 3rd party sales; $50 for eight hours of content isn't something I would want to spend money on.  Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is a much better example of the Wii's trouble with 3rd party sales.
