This is the first Kirby game I've ever been excited about.

Sadly, it's on the Wii and I've just fallen out of love with my Wii for the single mere fact it doesn't have Achievements/Trophies.  ;_;

I really want to play the game, I just know it's going to be another Wii game I'm not driven to finish or progress.

You're kidding, right?

Nope, so many Wii games I just don't play because ever since Achievements hit the scene, I just don't feel like I'm accomplishing much.  I suck, I know.

I have a stack of Wii games that I either haven't played or started but didn't get past more than an hour or so because I'd rather play a game where I get achievements.  The really sad thing is I'm not even that much of an achievement whore.

This game looks incredible and the art style itself just makes me smile, I'm just worried I'll buy the game and never touch it because when given the choice, I'll probably play the game that gives me achievements/trophies.

From your comments, I would say you're in denial.

My pathetically low achievement score, trophy count, and completion rate says otherwise.  :-p

(and don't get me wrong, I have no problem if people want to call me an achievement whore, I don't see it as a bad thing, I just have friends with 120,000 points and that makes me 11k seem pretty lousy).

You aren't an achievement whore by any means, but this does make you Pavlov's Gamer, where that "ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED" sound is what makes you salivate.

On-topic:

Kirby is goan be awesome and anyone who doesn't play it will be lesser for the lack of experience.

This game will be awesome. I LOVE the art style.

I still want to buy this game but might not in the end because their are so many other great games coming out I just can't get them all even with the Holiday season...(Kirby's Epic Yarn__Wii Party__Donkey Kong Country Returns__FlingSmash__Sonic Colors__New Carnival Games__UDraw (with games)__LittleBigPlanet 2__Vanquish)

See with 6 Wii games(Also UDraw) and 2 P.S.3 games Kirby might get left out...after all I never got Kirby Airride because of other games.

Oh no, don't say that... Kirby has gone up in my wishlist a lot after playing it. I hope Fling Smash will be fun, but I don't think it will match Kirby's quality or fun.

How is the Co Op?

I didn't plan to, but if it's something my 8 year old girl can play as well (with dad helping out of course, cough cough), that puts it higher on my list.

You won't regret it

it's pretty high on my must buy list!!!
