To be honest, I don't think they should do it. Left 4 Dead is meant for PC and once you've played it on PC, you'll have a hard time playing it on consoles. That's what happened with me. It's not the case with every shooters though.

It did sell amazingly well on 360 and that's most likely the reason why they would release L4D on PS3.

man...Mass effect might come to the PS3, L4d might also, and 160 gb PS3 slim coming to america...the internet is buzzing today, god only know what will happen at gamescom!!!

Ugh, I tried playing it on the 360 once and that was a big mistake. When it comes to Valve, it's PC for me.

Anyway, I hope the news is that Left4Dead 1 and/or 2 are coming to PS3 because I held a stance way back when that it would eventually happen. :P

Wouldn't be surprised, since Gabe Newell himself is actually supporting the PS3 now with Portal 2(and claiming that the PS3 version will be the best version, even though that's obviously not true)

I believe it's meant as the best console version.

But this shows that 3rd Parties are completely behind PS3 so thats great news!

I'd bet that they're going to be Mac versions or just some sort of crazy DLC. I don't see the point or the audience on the PS3 to support the game, I've got the first one and it isn't even good.... worse excuse for a single player campaign I've ever seen.
