well like the one person said (in an incorrect and exaggerated way) alot of people use their ps3 primarily as a blu ray player and don't buy alot of games and also 360 would have alot more refurbished being sold used so people who no longer have a console would have bought games and the person that bought the console would buy more, inflating the software sales relative to the consoles
