Joyride was retroactively designed for Kinect. Originally it was designed as a regular Xbox game that was going to be available via XBL for free like 1 vs. 100.
Technically, there's no reason why they couldn't still do this, but if they offered the same game with standard controls, that would raise the question why one needs Kinect to play something like Joyride, since you really don't, not that gesture controls can't add an extra element of fun to a game if done right.

That sucks.
i dont think the commercial is bad... its very well done Casuals are gonna eat this up.
I think the commercial is very well done.
It has the right mood, It shows the target they are aimming for, and how this game play.
LOL at all the people believing "casuals" are some kind of retards who will buy anything that has commercials. Mario kart wii, a 2,5 year old game, is still going strong. Is that thanks to the commercials?
It's exactly because of this kind mentality I believe Kinect will fail: The expanded audience are retarded gamers who will buy retarded games.
Also, I don't get the idea of this game. I mean things like dancing and boxing seem really great for Kinect, but racing? How can it be more enjoyable holding an imaginary wheel than a real one?
