Xbox 1 was pulled before its time if you ask me. I totally understand the reasoning as to why it happend, but it still had a few years left in it (if you ask me).
Glad to see the 360 doing so well. I think that Microsoft will do what Sony did this time and keep the 360 on the market even after their Next Box hits. There will be plenty of money to be made of the 360 even when the Next Box hits. And it will basically be all profit.
The biggest thing I hated about Xbox 1 was that stupid controller. It was gargantuan and they should have known better than to put those button placements the way they did. Other than that I liked the console. And it had a lot of great games for it.

The 360 is doing great but to put the sales of the original xbox in context it still out sold the gamecube which sold about 22million. Considering it was nintendos 4th generation of home console and microsofts 1st i think they did pretty well.
A tremendous achievement to be sure, but 8 million more units sold before january 1st?
360 is pretty huge.....but as someone said... 8 million fore the rest of the year?.... how should that be in a weekly basis I'm too lazy to see

Makes sense to me.
It certainly has proven itself to be a console worthy of praise over the years.
How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...
Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
