most retailers put their ads online the night before the ad starts (mostly on sundays)

if the wii is in the ad, they will have them in stock.

show up before the store opens.

Here in Mexico is getting hard to find... again. Import shops are overcharging the ones they get up to Xbox 360 levels. I'm not saying is not worth it, but it's not cool.

so my friend was denied by management at wal-mart to buy a wii today because they remembered that he had bought one the week before. Didn't know they could do that.

I found one by calling ahead. I'd highly recommend it. And folks will hold one for you, if they have it, for up to an hour. I know Best Buy will hold it for several hours.

Here in Croatia there are some of them left, but they are selling more and more every day, because ordinary ppl get to hear more about Wii (we are the land where Playstation is synonim for consoles)
